1. Introduction

Welcome to Mactorran Studios.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mactorran Studios, including MactorranStudios.com, the Mactorran Studios app, Mactorran Studios community and filmmaking tools, and our AI Receptionist Services.

Throughout these Terms, these websites, applications, tools, features, and services may collectively be referred to as the "Services."

By creating an account, accessing, purchasing, downloading, or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.

2. Mactorran Studios Platform

Mactorran Studios provides an online platform designed to help filmmakers, artists, creators, and other users create, collaborate, communicate, and develop projects.

Features may include:

  • User accounts and filmmaker profiles

  • Messaging and notifications

  • Comments and community interaction

  • Crew creation and collaboration

  • Film and project pages

  • Screenwriting tools

  • Storyboarding tools

  • Shot planning

  • Production planning and scheduling

  • Video editing or media tools

  • Animation or creative tools

  • Music and scoring tools

  • File, image, audio, and video uploads

  • Competitions, challenges, or community events

  • Portfolio and project sharing

  • Other filmmaking and creative tools

Features may be added, modified, removed, tested, or discontinued as Mactorran Studios develops.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device, operating system, browser, website, or version of the Mactorran Studios app.

3. Mactorran Studios App

The Mactorran Studios app provides access to some or all Mactorran Studios features through supported devices.

Your account may be shared between the Mactorran Studios website and app where supported.

Certain features may require:

  • Internet access

  • Camera access

  • Microphone access

  • Photo or media library access

  • File access

  • Notifications

  • Local network access

  • Other device permissions

The app will request device permissions when they are necessary for a feature. You may control many permissions through your device settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the associated feature from functioning.

Users are responsible for their own devices, internet connections, mobile data charges, and other costs associated with accessing the Services.

4. User Accounts

Certain features require a Mactorran Studios account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for:

  • Protecting your password and login credentials

  • Activity performed through your account

  • Keeping your account information reasonably accurate

  • Notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised

You may not impersonate another person or intentionally provide misleading identity information.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, create security risks, abuse other users, or misuse the Services.

5. Profiles and Public Information

Mactorran Studios may allow users to create filmmaker, artist, crew, company, or other profiles.

Depending on the feature, profile information may be visible to other users or publicly available.

Information you intentionally make public may include your:

  • Display name

  • Profile image

  • Biography

  • Filmmaking roles or skills

  • Portfolio

  • Projects

  • Social links

  • Website

  • Posts or comments

  • Other information you choose to display

You are responsible for deciding what information you make publicly available.

6. User Content and Creative Ownership

Mactorran Studios may allow you to create, upload, store, publish, or share screenplays, films, videos, images, artwork, animation, music, audio, storyboards, project information, posts, comments, and other material ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your original User Content.

Mactorran Studios does not claim ownership of your screenplay, film, artwork, music, animation, story, or other original creative work simply because you upload, create, or store it using our Services.

By uploading or publishing User Content, you grant Mactorran Studios a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, reproduce, or otherwise technically use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Services or provide features you request.

For example, if you publish a film on a public project page, we need permission to display that film as part of providing that feature.

You represent that you have the rights or permissions necessary to upload and use any content you submit.

You may not knowingly upload content that unlawfully infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

7. Private and Collaborative Projects

Some Mactorran Studios features may allow users to collaborate on projects or share information with selected users.

You are responsible for deciding who you invite to your projects, crews, conversations, or collaborations.

Mactorran Studios does not determine ownership arrangements between collaborators.

If multiple people work on a screenplay, film, animation, project, or other creative work, the participants are responsible for establishing their own agreements regarding:

  • Ownership

  • Credits

  • Compensation

  • Revenue

  • Intellectual property

  • Distribution rights

  • Responsibilities

Mactorran Studios is not a party to agreements between users unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

8. Messaging and Community Features

Mactorran Studios may provide messaging, commenting, posting, crew, and other communication features.

Users agree not to use these features to:

  • Harass or threaten others

  • Send spam

  • Commit fraud

  • Impersonate others

  • Distribute malicious software

  • Conduct illegal activity

  • Intentionally deceive or exploit other users

  • Violate another person's intellectual property rights

We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the security and operation of Mactorran Studios.

9. User-to-User Relationships

Mactorran Studios may help filmmakers, actors, animators, composers, cinematographers, crew members, businesses, and other users discover or communicate with one another.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Mactorran Studios is not the employer, agent, representative, or business partner of users who meet through the platform.

Users are responsible for evaluating people they choose to work with and establishing appropriate agreements before beginning paid or professional work.

Mactorran Studios does not guarantee the identity, qualifications, reliability, safety, availability, or conduct of another user.

10. Filmmaking and Creative Tools

Mactorran Studios may provide tools for screenwriting, storyboarding, shot planning, production scheduling, video editing, animation, music, scoring, project management, and other creative or production activities.

These tools are provided to assist creators.

Users are responsible for reviewing their projects, exports, schedules, budgets, calculations, files, and other outputs before relying on them for a production or business decision.

We do not guarantee that creative or production tools will be error-free or suitable for every professional production.

Users should maintain independent backups of important creative work.

11. AI Features

Certain Mactorran Studios features may use artificial intelligence.

AI-generated information or recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or incorrect.

Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated material before relying on, publishing, submitting, or using it.

AI features should not be considered a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, safety, or other specialized advice.

Mactorran Studios does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be unique, accurate, copyrightable, or free from similarity to material generated for other users.

AI RECEPTIONIST SERVICES

12. Description of AI Receptionist Services

Mactorran Studios provides AI-powered receptionist solutions designed to help businesses manage incoming customer calls and communications.

AI Receptionist Services may include:

  • AI-powered phone answering

  • Customer information collection

  • Lead capture

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Calendar integration

  • Business information responses

  • Call summaries and notifications

  • Custom AI receptionist setup

The specific features available depend on the customer's selected plan.

13. AI Receptionist Limitations

Our AI receptionist is an automated assistant designed to help businesses handle customer communication.

The AI:

  • Is not a human employee

  • May occasionally misunderstand callers

  • May produce inaccurate responses

  • May provide incorrect information when supplied with incorrect or outdated business information

  • Does not replace professional judgment or human decision-making

Customers are responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate business information provided to the AI system.

Mactorran Studios does not guarantee that the AI receptionist will generate any specific number of leads, appointments, sales, customers, or revenue.

14. AI Receptionist Setup and Customization

Some plans include setup and customization services.

Setup may include:

  • Business information configuration

  • AI greeting creation

  • Call-flow setup

  • Integration setup

  • Testing

  • Adjustments

The level of customization depends on the customer's selected plan.

Additional customization outside the services included with a plan may require additional fees.

15. AI Receptionist Customer Responsibilities

AI Receptionist customers agree to provide accurate information necessary for the system to operate properly.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and current business information

  • Reviewing AI responses and settings

  • Following applicable laws regarding customer communications

  • Obtaining required permissions or consent

  • Providing legally required disclosures regarding automated systems

  • Providing legally required disclosures regarding call recording or monitoring

Customers are responsible for determining which laws apply to their business and use of the AI Receptionist Service.

16. Payments and Billing

Certain Mactorran Studios Services may be free, while others may require payment.

Customers purchasing paid Services agree to pay applicable:

  • Subscription fees

  • Setup fees

  • Usage fees

  • Additional service fees

  • Other charges disclosed before purchase

AI Receptionist setup fees cover creation and configuration of the system.

Recurring fees may cover ongoing access, maintenance, software costs, integrations, usage, and continued operation of the Service.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

17. Subscriptions and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled.

Customers may cancel a subscription before the next billing cycle according to the cancellation options available for that Service.

Cancellation does not eliminate charges already incurred or setup work already completed.

Access to paid features may end when the applicable subscription or billing period ends.

Different products or app-store subscriptions may have additional billing and cancellation rules presented at the time of purchase.

18. Third-Party Services

Mactorran Studios relies on third-party technologies and services.

These may include:

  • Hosting providers

  • Database providers

  • AI providers

  • Phone and telecommunications systems

  • Calendar services

  • Email providers

  • Payment processors

  • Automation platforms

  • Authentication providers

  • Cloud storage providers

  • App distribution platforms

  • Analytics services

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Mactorran Studios is not responsible for outages, policy changes, failures, or other problems caused by third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

19. Privacy and Data

Mactorran Studios may process information necessary to provide the Services, including account information, communications, uploaded content, project information, and information processed through AI Receptionist Services.

AI Receptionist information may include:

  • Customer names

  • Phone numbers

  • Email addresses

  • Service requests

  • Appointment information

  • Call-related information

Our collection and handling of personal information is further described in the Mactorran Studios Privacy Policy.

20. Competitions and Events

Mactorran Studios may organize competitions, challenges, festivals, promotions, or other events.

Individual events may have additional official rules, eligibility requirements, deadlines, judging procedures, submission requirements, prizes, and intellectual-property terms.

Those event-specific rules will apply in addition to these Terms.

If event-specific rules conflict with these general Terms regarding operation of that event, the event-specific rules will control for that event.

21. Acceptable Use

You may not use Mactorran Studios or its Services to:

  • Conduct illegal activities

  • Commit fraud

  • Send spam or abusive communications

  • Intentionally mislead or impersonate others

  • Harass, threaten, or exploit users

  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems

  • Introduce viruses or malicious code

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Services

  • Circumvent access controls or security measures

  • Use another person's intellectual property without appropriate authorization

  • Use the Services in a manner that violates applicable law

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary.

22. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Mactorran Studios respects intellectual-property rights.

You should only upload material that you own or have permission to use.

Mactorran Studios retains ownership of its own intellectual property, including its branding, logos, original website and app designs, software, code, graphics, documentation, and other materials created by or for Mactorran Studios, except where otherwise stated.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Mactorran Studios intellectual property to users.

23. Service Availability and Changes

We work to keep Mactorran Studios available and reliable, but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.

Services may be affected by:

  • Internet outages

  • Hosting failures

  • Phone-provider issues

  • Third-party platform downtime

  • Software bugs

  • Maintenance

  • Updates

  • Device compatibility

  • Security incidents

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

We may modify, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features as Mactorran Studios develops.

24. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Mactorran Studios when reasonably necessary because of:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Illegal activity

  • Fraud

  • Abuse or harassment

  • Security threats

  • Nonpayment for paid Services

  • Attempts to compromise the platform

  • Serious or repeated misuse of the Services

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation, but we reserve the ability to act immediately when necessary to protect users or the Services.

Users may stop using Mactorran Studios at any time.

25. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mactorran Studios and its Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Services will always be available

  • The Services will be completely error-free

  • Every feature will work on every device

  • User Content will never be lost

  • AI-generated information will always be accurate

  • The Services will produce particular creative, professional, financial, or business results

Users should maintain backups of important files and creative work.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mactorran Studios will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services.

This may include loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, projects, files, customers, or other losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Mactorran Studios, its app, AI services, community, or other products develop.

When changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Where required by law or appropriate because of significant changes, we may provide additional notice.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
